Energy: choose your next activity
Energy powers gym training and other actions such as attacks and Street Corner searches. Those activities serve different goals: the gym develops combat stats, attacks challenge other characters, and searches offer a chance of rewards. Check the cost shown on the current activity screen before spending your remaining energy.
Nerve: your crime resource
Crimes consume nerve and can earn game cash and experience. Review the available crimes and their requirements before choosing an action. Nerve and energy are separate resources, so an empty energy bar does not tell you whether you can commit a crime.
Health: prepare for combat
Health matters when attacking. Check your condition before starting another fight and read recovery item descriptions before using them. A piece of equipment that improves a combat stat is different from an item that restores health; compare both the effect and the purpose of an item.
Awake: housing and training
Awake affects gains from gym training, and your house affects your awake capacity. Review your housing and awake alongside your energy before planning a training session. The equipment directory also includes home improvements with recorded awake bonuses.
Build a routine around your goal
Choose whether your next session is focused on experience, missions, training or combat. Read the resource requirements for that activity, check the rewards and leave room for recovery. Use the current in-game screens for costs and refill options because these can change as the game develops.
